EMILIE beyond its end
Among its variety of activities EMILIE promotes the networking of Mediterranean organizations and clusters of SMEs that shares the common interest in proposing new technologies/products in the field of building energy efficiency.
The EMILIE NETWORK aims to strengthen the local research and innovation capacities with a cohesive approach by exchanging information, sharing best practices, supporting project development and the diffusion of new technologies related to building energy efficiency.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed among 12 European organizations (AREA Science Park; ANCE Friuli Venezia Giulia; ENVIRONMENT PARK S.p.a.; Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Chamber of Construction and Building Materials; FEDARENE (European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and Environment; Croatian Chamber of Mechanical Engineers; Oil Industry Trade Union; EKN – Autonomous Trade Union of Workers in Energy, Chemistry and Non-Metal Industry of Croatia; Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Aragon; Agrupaciòn de Empresas innovadoras – APREAN; Andalusian Energy Agency; Bioenergy and Environment Cluster of of Western Macedonia) that will pave the path for an efficient operation of the EMILIE network. By exploiting EMILIE main results, the network will seek to foster the adoption of new policies on energy efficiency in tertiary buildings, thus aiming to strengthen innovation capacities of SMEs.
