Let’s capitalize on the project results!

Almost 30 participants took part in the 5th EMILIE Capitalization meeting that was held in Trieste on the 27th of May 2015, highlighting various aspects of energy savings in the public and private tertiary sector buildings. Experiences of different Mediterranean regions (Western Macedonia, PACA, PIEDMONT) were presented, providing an opportunity for knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices.

Furthermore, moderated by Pablo de la Rosa Tudela from IAT -  Instituto Andaluz de Tecnología and Fabio Tomasi from AREA Science Park, an interactive discussion was initiated, with an attempt to tackle the issue of concrete actions for innovation for building energy efficiency, based on the Emilie exploitation of pilot plants data.

Reflecting back on all capitalization meetings organized by EMILIE, we believe that we have contributed to introduction (or increase) of innovation level of SMEs and also to extension of their market position. Moreover, capitalization meetings proved effective in diffusion of EMILIE project results, firstly the pilot actions and new technologies identified, but also other project achievements.
