The SLO prime minister Dr. Cerar officially opened the pilot plant InfraSUN

The president of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Miro Cerar solemnly opened the pilot plant EMILIE InfraSUN during the visit to Jožef Stefan Institute on October 27, 2014.

The big hall of the Instutute was at the occasion of the opening ceremony fully packed, the event was, besides participants in the project, attended by numerous invited guests from the economy, public life as well as experts from the field of energy and JSI.

In a short speech to more than 150 participants the president of the government highlighted the implementation of the pilot plant InfraSUN as a good example of the fruitful connection between science and economy, not only in Slovenia, but due to internationaly involved stakeholders also in a broader European area. At this occasion the president of the government congratulated all researchers, who cooperated in the project, and he wished the whole of the Jožef Stefan Institute a lot of success and scientific achievements for the welfare of the entire society also in the future.


The president of the government Dr. Cerar is seeing, in the company of the JSI director Dr. Jadran Lenarčič, the pilot unit presented by Dr. Gašper Tavčar and M.Sc. Jure Čižman.


The pilot plant was also visited by numerous other guests and participants of the opening ceremony.
