Croatia Green Building Council

The Croatia Green Building Council (CGBC) is a not-for-profit organization that serves as a country-wide platform for the promotion of sustainable building practices. The Council acts as a network for all parties involved in the development of the built environment—from architects or materials manufacturers, to financial institutions or academics.

The Council cooperates with private and public sector in order to implement sustainable building practice and to provide to the market facilities and activities based on several key areas including information and education, establishing cooperation and partnership with other organizations, organizing symposiums, seminars, workshops, conferences and annual meetings, organizing and participating in campaigns to raise public awareness and, where appropriate, influence the legislation in the field of construction.
