Polo di Innovazione ENERMHY

ENERMHY is one of the 12 Innovation Clusters created by the Regione Piemonte in 2008.

The Cluster main purpose is the promotion of scientific and technological research in the fields of renewable energy (plant integration, use of biomasses..) and mini-hydro technology with the aim of encouraging the exchange of know-how and experience among the members. ENERMHY groups nearly 90 members (Smes, research centres, universities and large companies) engaged in  the development of technology and scientific research with at least one business office located in Piedmont area. 

ENERMHY offers its services and expertise to projects with  high market potential in the renewable energy and mini hydro fields. In particular, ENERMHY technological domains are:

• plant integration systems (INTIMP);
• the use of non-food biomasses for energy (by-products of agro-industrial activities) (BIOMA);
• mini hydro (MHY);

The Innovative Cluster is engaged in:

• promoting synergy between public and private bodies in the field of research, business and finance;
• bridging the gap between the research and the market development;
• supporting the growth of the Cluster members,
• promoting networking among the Cluster companies.
