Opportunities

Sustainable Mediterranean Buildings Association

who we are

BDM is an inter-professional grouping of construction sector stakeholders, committed to sustainable development practices in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

There are currently more than 200 members in BDM from all over the PACA region. These members are construction or restoration professionals: public or private sector contracting authorities, project managers (architects, design offices), craftsmen and companies, training organisations, their representatives (professional organisations, unions, chambers of commerce) and the Mediterranean Envirobat resources and meet-up centres.

 Objective:

'To organise and give a boost to the sustainable planning, construction and restoration sectors in PACA by taking the climatic and cultural specificities of the Mediterranean into account.'

How?

'By boosting business and the competitiveness of regional construction companies and supporting them in their conversion to the use of sustainable practices, increasing both the quality and quantity of BDM operations through an inter-professional network.'

With a view to achieving this, the 'BDM Approach', an environmental, social and economic quality standard has been developed both with and for construction sector stakeholders.
