The UPC founded the Technology Transfer Centre (CTT) to provide support to its research centers and to companies, and to promote technological innovation through the transfer of research results. 


The CTT is also a key instrument in the UPC for providing the best technology alternatives and strategic advice on public funding for research, development and innovation projects.  The CTT’s services are available to all companies, whether they are large or small corporations, public or private institutions or any other organizations that wish to benefit from the research and development carried out at the UPC. Thus, the UPC aims to become the research, development and innovation department for Spain’s industrial sector. 

what we offer

The CTT is a university-based technology partner that can meet companies technology demands. The Centre provides a personalized information service about the UPC’s technological output and strategic advice on the following subjects:

-          Research projects, development and technological innovation.

-          Technological services and access to high-tech facilities and equipment.

-          Funding


 The CTT’s qualified staff listens to a company’s needs and then informs and advises them on ways of collaborating with the UPC. Once a request has been defined, the CTT staff contact the right research team or department and write a specific proposal to resolve the company’s technological problem. Confidentiality is maintained throughout the process.


In addition, the CTT provides information and advice about other advantageous UPC services that are available to companies:

-          Protection and exploitation of results.

-          Creation of technology companies.

-          Training of human capital.

-          University-company chairs.

-          Work placements.

-          Technology watch.
