Toulon Var Technologies

TVT was set up in 1988 with the aim of bringing together entrepreneurs from the Var Department with researchers and universities and the elected representatives of local authorities. It has a staff of twenty two.

It's home to three distinct bodies:

• TVT INNOVATION: A technology park endorsed by RETIS and the BIC by the EBN
• PACA MARINE COMPETITIVITY CENTRE A competitivity centre with the ambition of becoming a global reference
• VAR BUSINESS ANGELS: A Var Department business angels club

 TVT is financed by

• Grants: Local Authorities - The State - Europe
• Its own resources: Contributions from members - Services offered - incubators and so on
• With an annual budget of around EUR 3 million
